Dr. Thomas Young of Young Medical Spa was recently featured on the local news discussing Zerona, the latest in laser technology.
Zerona is the new thing in lasers. It is completely pain free and there is no downtime at all. Dr. Thomas Young offers the treatment at his Center Valley office.
In a recent profile of the procedure on NBC, Dr. Young says, "[The laser] will pass through the skin and hit the fat cell...it makes the fat cell open up a little bit. That lets the fat out and the body takes that liquid fat that came out of the fat cell and clears it out." He does state that it requires patient compliance and has shown to be about 80% effective.
