Dr. Young is double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a native of the Lehigh Valley and has been practicing medicine here for 20 years. He was born in Easton and returned to the valley after graduating from medical school and completing his residency at the Harrisburg Hospital.
He began performing SmartLipo™ soon after its FDA approval and also performs SlimLipo™, Vaser® Lipo, and Body-Jet® body sculpting procedures. In fact, as of May 2010 Dr. Young has performed over 1000 tumescent liposuction procedures and is consistently one of the top two SlimLipo physicians in the U.S.!
Dr. Young also was first to offer FDA-cleared VelaShape™ to reduce the appearance of cellulite and the Zerona™ low level laser to the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. Dr. Young is a speaker for Palomar Medical, Inc. the manufacturers of the SlimLipo™ body sculpting laser and a Trainer for the Body-Jet®. He also performs natural breast augmentation and the Brazilian butt lift utilizing fat transfer procedures.
He and his staff use the Palomar StarLux 500 Aspire Laser and Light system for photo facials, acne, rosacea, and leg veins. The Lux1540™ and Lux2940™ hand pieces are used for laser skin resurfacing for fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, body scars and stretch marks. The LuxDeepIR™ hand piece is used for pain-free skin tightening procedures. The Alma Soprano XL hair reduction diode laser is used for pain-free hair reduction with no downtime for the patient.
